Tree climbing frogs, often called poison dart frogs, come in a wide variety of colours and live in the Central and South American rainforest. The small frogs range in size from 1cm to 5cm, but contrary to popular belief, they are not all poisonous. Only about a third of the tree climbing frogs can secrete a strong poison through their skin, which causes muscle and respiratory paralysis.
