The Komodo dragon, also known as the Komodo dragon, is found exclusively on some of the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia. The powerfully built lizards are active during the day and can grow up to three metres long. When hunting prey, they benefit from venom glands in their lower jaw, which enable them to overpower even large prey such as water buffalo.
