Description
Description
Giganotosaurus lived around 90 - 100 million years ago in the Upper Cretaceous in Argentina. It was similar to Tyrannosaurus Rex, a two-legged walking predatory dinosaur. However, with a length of 13 metres and a weight of 6-7 tonnes, Giganotosaurus was larger and heavier than Tyrannosaurus Rex. It also had longer arms and three fingers on each hand. Researchers assume that Giganotosaurus could run up to 14 metres per second. The name - Giganotosaurus - is made up of the words gigas (giant), notos (south) and sauros (lizard). Giganotosaurus is therefore a giant lizard from the south. The BULLYLAND figure is naturalistically hand-painted and approx. 12.5 cm high. The lower jaw of the figure can be moved so that Giganotosaurus can get a good grip when hunting prey. Age: from 3 years.
